Waiting for 100,000

We’re counting down the days until we’ve had 100,000 hits on the “Death By Chocolate (Wellington)” ticketing site – eventfinder.co.nz and wondering what our total hit rate will be by the end of the season.

Here’s the data:

Aug 11, 11:17am – “over 8,000 hits within the first week”

Aug 21, 12:01am – 23,383 hits

Aug 28, 10:25am – 35,292 hits

Aug 31, 11:35am – 41,889 hits

Sept 2, 6:35pm – 53,334 hits

Sept 4, 9:58am – 63,300 hits and the #1 event in Wellington (beating AC/DC!)

Sept 5, 12:05pm – 68,911 hits

Sept 7, 11:32am – 78,285 hits and #2 in New Zealand (behind Fleetwood Mac)

Sept 9, 5:18pm – 97,371 hits

Sorry to those who don’t get excited by stats, but it’s a fun thing for us to count :)

What else?

Well, our first week has gone swimmingly – keep your eyes peeled for a plethora of reviews being posted throughout this week. As we learn of them, we’re posting them to this site (on the Death By Chocolate pages).

The Death By Chocolate pages, themselves, have had a makeover, so have another look through them when you get the chance.

Tickets are running out the door (both locally and internationally), but we’re not sold out yet. Get your tickets at eventfinder.co.nz. And if you need a hand getting logged in to the secret website, shoot us an email — we’ll get you through hassle free.

We’ve started doing photos of this cast / season, and those will be out and about soon no doubt. Here’s a sneak preview of the team in their cool new hoodies (we may make some copies to sell, get in touch if you’re interested)

We’ve also had quite a lot of enquiries from Auckland, as well as from people about private bookings. In terms of the latter, yes, we do do them, and no, we’re not booked up for Christmas parties yet. In terms of Auckland, keep registering your interest – we’re thinking about it. Strongly.

That’s enough for now, no doubt, but will try to drop a line again soon.
